When my 20-year old daughter got arrested and went to jail, I didn't know what I was going to do. She was facing a felony conviction and jail time. I paid the bail but didn't know whom to talk to or where to go. I felt helpless. Then, somebody gave me Don's number. Since I had nothing to lose, I ended up in his office with my daughter just out of jail. I had never met or heard of a lawyer who right off the bat became personally involved with the case.

Don talked to my daughter and me that day for three hours. He won my daughter's trust, which is a miracle in itself, and got her to open up and talk to him. He also gave me some words of comfort and advice on what I should do which made me feel a bit of relief for the first time in days. I knew then that I was in good hands. Don was able to get her felony reduced to a misdemeanor so she did not have to do jail time.

Being a member of a profession that strips you of your license to work in your field if you are convicted of even a single such count. I was facing not only serious prison time, but also the prospect of having to start my life from scratch.
